Main duties of the job

  • Evidence of training and expertise in welding techniques and mechanical maintenance
  • Experience in setting out, fabricating, installing, and commissioning steel and copper pipework for infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of pumps, pressure sets, pressure vessels, and plate heat exchangers.
  • Ability to investigate breakdowns, identify root causes, and undertake remedial actions promptly
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and health and safety regulations affecting engineering works
  • Skilled in carrying out statutory, planned preventative, and reactive maintenance of plant and equipment
  • Capable of diagnosing, testing, calibrating, and repairing advanced mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
  • Proven ability to provide technical advice, ensure safety standards, and respond effectively to emergencies
