Job summary
The role of a Network Officer is to provide support to the network operations team in Islington Networks by performing administrative tasks and ensuring effective communication among various stakeholders. This role aims to facilitate the smooth running of services by managing and maintaining communication channels.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible administrator willing to work with a dynamic organisation and is prepared to adapt and develop with the team. The role is new and will be working with an established team to coordinate networks of GP practices working collaboratively to form an integrated care system which brings care closer to patients home.

Main duties of the job
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate and work closely with GP network stakeholders including ambassadors, organisational group members, network members, project teams and other key project stakeholders as required to support the development of resources and coordinate activities.
Undertaking a wide range of administrative duties which include ensuring all information is managed correctly, stored and followed up accordingly.
Have a working knowledge of all office based software and hardware, i.e. photocopier, fax, patient information system
Word processing typing of general correspondence and reports.
Creating and designing presentations using PowerPoint.
Data input using databases and spread sheets.
Arranging meetings and Network events, booking rooms and hospitality, compiling agendas; taking formal minutes and chasing actions.
Ensuring all correspondence is accurately and appropriately presented, this includes proactive management of emails.
Using proficient internet skills to access search and retrieve information.
Handling queries and ensuring that relevant information is imparted and confidentiality is maintained. Setting up conference calls and webinars.
Provide administrative and ad hoc support for the Early Cancer Diagnosis (ECD) and Personalised Care Leads

Islington GP Federation (IGPF) is a growing organisation representing 31 practices; we have established ourselves as a leader in new ways of working, including running Islingtons extended access primary care services (I: HUB) as well as supporting the Islington Primary Care Networks (PCNs). Our current range of services include the Extended Access Service, I: HUB, Community Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Integrated Community Gynaecology, practice-based pharmacists and a range of practice support mechanisms.
IGPF works very closely with a range of partners including the regional commissioning group, NHS England, Healthy London Partnership, Public Health, local hospitals such as UCLH, Whittington Health and the London Borough of Islington.
IGPF is the host organisation for the Primary Care Network (PCN) workforce and the Islington Training Hub and has been working for over three years to create training and development programmes that meet the needs of staff working in primary and community care settings.
IGPF runs four Islington GP Practices-Northern Medical Practice, Barnsbury Medical Practice, City Road Medical Centre and Hanley Primary Care Centre
