The NCL Faculty and Quality Project Manager will provide project management and administrative support to underpin the successful delivery of the Faculty and Quality work programme across the five boroughs of North Central London (Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington).

Working closely with the Programme Manager, Clinical Leadership and Project Support Officer, you will support the coordination of administrative processes for key work areas for this portfolio and will be expected to demonstrate a proactive approach to your work. This includes maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and educators across NCL and with key external stakeholders.

This role would suit applicants from a range of professional backgrounds. You will be organised, a good communicator, motivated and have experience working in a similar role to support operational and development teams. You will have a good knowledge of education and supporting supervisors and learners, or have relevant professional experience working in a health care setting.

The post will be employed by Islington GP Federation, a core member of the NCL Training Hub team.

This role will report to the Programme Manager for Islington Training Hub, with accountability to the Programme Director for NCL Training Hub.

Main duties of the job

Under leadership from the Programme Manager, manage the delivery of the NCL Quality and Faculty work programme, including objectives, activities, timeline for delivery, stakeholders, performance monitoring and evaluation.

Provide day-to-day support for the Faculty and Quality work programme, and support the Project Officer with delivery of key activities such as email correspondence, arranging assessments, secretarial support and reporting.

Work with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including:

- North Central London Training Hub leads (across all boroughs)

- Health Education England

- Primary Care Networks (PCNs)

- Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) and other training providers.

Coordinate internal resources and draft communication to support educator/learning environment assessments and Educator Faculty resources. This includes updating the NCL Training Hub Faculty and Quality website and CRM system.

Support programme working groups for Faculty and Quality, including monitoring attendance, membership, scheduling and papers.

Work closely with Faculty and Quality Clinical Leadership to develop agendas of meetings, events and communications to mature the NCL Educational Faculty programme.

Provide regular project updates on a consistent basis to inform progress. This includes contributing to monthly reporting for NCL Training Hubs Joint Operational Group (JOG) on Faculty and Quality activity.

In NCL we are growing out network of educators and educational environments for learners who are based in primary care. The NCL Faculty and Quality team are responsible for supporting the registration of new clinicians to become trained and approved educators and by establishing practices and other appropriate sites in Primary Care Networks as approved learning environments. Training Hubs manage this process on behalf of Health Education Englands Quality team.

The NCL Education Faculty is a made up of a multi-professional mix of clinicians and non-clinicians. Our members share a commitment to the ongoing education and development of the primary and community care workforce. Together we are growing both a team of educational leaders, and a broader network of educators who facilitate education and training for all our learners across North Central London.
