We are looking for compassionate and committed Support Workers/Healthcare Assistants in St Helens, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality two-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in his own home.
Our service user is a gentleman in his 40s, who lives at home in his adapted bungalow in St Helens and requires support on a 2:1 basis throughout the day and night to support his complex care needs.
Our client is a charismatic individual who thrives on social interactions and enjoys exploring the world around him. Despite facing certain challenges, he remains vibrant and spirited, seeking companionship to accompany him on outings and social gatherings.
He shows a big interest in sports and particularly a big fan of Warrington Wolves where he loves to attend to watch the games when he can.
Main duties of the job
As part of his dedicated care team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing his quality of life by providing compassionate support and fostering engaging conversations. Your role will include assisting with mobility, supporting with his personal care, and attending to his clinical care needs when required. You will ensure his safety and well-being, and assist him to enjoying his hobbies, and interests, along with various social activities.
Throughout the night you will provide support with his personal care needs, repositioning, clinical observations and attending to his clinical needs when required. You will provide a safe and calming environment to promote a restful nights sleep.
Our ideal care team will be pet friendly as he does have friendly pet dog at home who he enjoys spending time with.

Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (£156 approx. per 12-hour shift)
Weeknights: £13.50 per hour (£162 approx. per 12-hour shift)
Weekends: £14.00 per hour (£168 approx. per 12 hour shift)
Bank Holiday: £16.00 per hour (£192 approx. per 12 hour shift)
