We are currently seeking Healthcare Assistants to provide personalised support and care for a young boy in Nottingham. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference and help enhance the quality of life for an individual with unique needs.

Our service user is 8 years old and lives at home with his loving family and pets in Nottingham, he requires care throughout the day and night on a 1:1 basis.

We are looking for engaging individuals who are happy to assist him to enjoy his hobbies and interests such as arts and crafts, creating models, and playing with his toy cars. He likes to read books with his care team and watch TV; he especially enjoys watching YouTube.

We believe in fostering meaningful connections, building trust, and promoting a sense of belonging for our service user. We are looking for our caregivers to be friendly, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about making a positive difference in his life.

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Main duties of the job

Throughout the day you will provide specialised care attending to his complex and clinical needs when required. Your role will include accompanying him to his educational setting engaging with his learning and development and encouraging play and social interaction.

Throughout the night you will be assisting with repositioning and any clinical interventions. You will need to be vigilant, make close observations, and offer reassurance and comfort to settle him back to sleep if he wakes.

We have the following shifts available;

  • Full Time
  • Days: 8:15am-3:45pm
  • Nights- 8pm - 8am
  • Must be flexible to work both days and nights

Weekdays: £12.50 per hour (£93.75 approx. per 7.5-hour shift)

Weeknights: £13.00 per hour (£156.00 approx. per 12-hour shift)

Saturday: £13.50 per hour (£162 approx. per 12-hour shift)

Sunday: £14.00 per hour (£168 approx. per 12-hour shift)

Bank Holiday: £15.00 per hour (£180.00 approx. per 12-hour shift)
