Job summary

Apollo Home Healthcare are seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Lincoln to provide a high standard of home healthcare services to support a gentleman with complex care needs.

We are looking for committed and caring Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, as well as enjoy delivering one-to-one support to a high standard, and can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is a gentleman in his 60s who lives at home with his wife, daughter, and family pets, who requires support with his complex needs throughout the day and night.

He is a very big family man so spending time with his family is very important to him.

He is a very intelligent gentleman, loves good conversations with his care team, listening to audio books and watching his favourite films.

Our service user is a real foodie and loves his wifes cooking! He looks forward to mealtimes where he can spend quality time with his family.

Our ideal applicant will be a driver with access to a vehicle, however non-drivers will be considered given they have reliable transport and are able to get to the service users home address.

Main duties of the job

Throughout the day you will support with personal care, moving and handling and attending to his clinical care needs when required. We are looking for a care team who can get involved in his interests and support him to enjoy the things he loves.

Throughout the night you will be tending to his personal care, repositioning, and carrying out clinical interventions and observations as required.

We have the following shifts available;

  • Part Time 2-3 shifts per week
  • Days: 9:00am-9:00pm & 11:00am-7:00pm
  • Nights- 9:00pm - 9:00am- Mixture of waking and sleep in shifts

  • Weekdays: £12.00 per hour (£144.00 approx. per 12-hour shift)
  • Weeknights: £13.00 per hour (£156 approx. per 12-hour shift)
  • Saturday: £14.00 per hour (£168.00 approx. per 12-hour shift)
  • Sunday: £14.00 per hour (£168.00 approx. per 12-hour shift)
  • Bank Holiday: £15.00 per hour (£180.00 approx. per 12-hour shift)
