Job summary

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one-to-one support and can build positive relationships with our service user and her family.

Apollo Home Healthcare are seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Sheffield to support our service user, undertaking days and waking nights on a 1:1, part time basis.

Our service user is a cheerful young lady who lives at home with her loving family in Sheffield.

She enjoys TV, engaging in therapeutic play with her care team and spending time at the park when the weather allows. She particularly likes listening to music and will show her enjoyment by clapping along.

She is visual impaired and has very limited verbal communication, so it is important that she is observed closely during all activities, and that her care team become familiar with her methods of communication to anticipate her wants and needs.

Our service user has specified female staff only to provide their care.

Main duties of the job

Throughout the night, she can tend to have an unsettled sleeping pattern, you will care for this young lady and ensure that all her needs are met supporting with her personal care, regular repositioning and attending to her clinical care needs when required.

We are looking for candidates that can remain alert, tending to her needs, regular observations and offering reassurance to encourage a restful nights sleep.

We have the following shifts available:

• Part Time Nights
• Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays.
• 10:00pm-6:00am/ Flexibility to also finish at 9:00am
• Flexibility to cover ad hock days for A/L/ Sickness

• Weekdays: £12:00 per hour (Approx. £108.00 based on an 11-hour shift)
• Weeknights: £12.25 per hour (Approx. £134.75 based on an 11-hour shift)
• Weekends: £13.00 per hour (Approx. £143.00 based on an 11-hour shift)
• Bank Holiday: £15.50 per hour (Approx. £170.50 based on an 11-hour shift)
