We are currently seeking a Healthcare Assistant to provide personalised support and care for a young boy with complex care needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference and help enhance the quality of life for an individual with unique needs.
Meet Our service user
Our service user is a 4-year-old boy who lives with his family in Solihull and requires care on a 1:1 basis throughout the day.
We are looking for pro-active and engaging individuals who are happy to get involved and assist him within his educational setting. You will support him throughout the day attending to his clinical care, personal care needs, and mobility support.
Main duties of the job
You will offer Distraction techniques, cuddles, and reassurance to our young service user to ensure he is settled and thriving to his full potential throughout his day with his social interaction and learning and development.
His hobbies and interests, include spending time outdoors, singing, listening to music, and playing on his musical piano mat. When at home he also loves to watch Mr Tumble on TV. We are looking for a team who are vigilant and can act fast to take appropriate action and at times manage emergency situations
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
We have the following shifts available;
- Part Time Days
- 9am -3:30pm
- 2 shifts per week
- Additional hours can be offered for full time.
Take a look at our rates
Weekdays £12.00 per hour (£78 approx. per 6.5 hour shift)
Bank holidays £14.50 per (£94.25 approx. per 6.5 hour shift)
