We have recently gained a new package of care bringing many fresh and exciting opportunities to join our team in Worsley.

We are seeking a new team of experienced Healthcare Assistants to support an adult male with his complex care needs.

Our service user is a gentleman in his early 70s and currently resides in Southport Spinal Injury Unit.

He requires a dedicated Healthcare team to help bring him home to his loving wife in Worsley.

We are looking for a committed and compassionate care team to provide exceptional care and support to a gentleman with complex care needs. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, friendly, and respectful environment that fosters dignity and self-esteem.

Although drivers are not essential for this position, you will need to be able to attend training at Southport Spinal Injury Unit

Staff will need to be vaccinated with MMR and chickenpox or be willing to be vaccinated to work in the hospital

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Main duties of the job

Your role will be to attend to his clinical and social care needs when required. Your will support with all daily activities such as washing, dressing, mobility support and administrating medication. Our person-cantered approach ensures that his unique needs and preferences are carefully considered in crafting a personalised care plan.

At times his complex care needs can become intense and lifesaving so you will work on a 2:1 basis alongside a Registered Nurse to act fast supporting his care needs efficiently and safely.

We have the following shifts available;

  • Full time and Part Time 2-5 shifts per week
  • Days- 9am-9pm
  • Nights- 9pm-9am

Weekdays: £13.00 per hour. Approx. £156 per 12-hour shift

Weeknights: £13.50 per hour. Approx. £162 per 12-hour shift

Weekends: £14.00 per hour. Approx. £168 per 12-hour shift

Bank Holidays: £17.00 per hour. Approx. £204 per 12-hour shift
