Job summary

If you are looking for a rewarding new role within healthcare, you are in the right place!

Working in healthcare can be incredibly fulfilling as it allows you to make a positive impact on people's lives every day.

We are looking for experienced and committed Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior complex care experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as full bespoke clinical training will be provided.

We believe in creating a warm and inclusive environment where our young service user can thrive, and we're seeking a care team who shares our vision. If you're passionate about making a positive difference in the life of a child and have experience or a willingness to learn about complex care needs, we want to hear from you!

Our service user is a toddler who lives with her family in Wolverhampton.

Were looking for interactive and engaging Healthcare Assistant to join her team, providing care throughout the day and night on a 1:1 basis.

She loves to play and explore various sensory activities as well as enjoys listening to nursery rhymes and watching her favourite cartoons Mr Tumble and Teletubbies.

She is full of energy and curiosity, and we are looking for a care team to provide attentive and specialised care to ensure her well-being and development.

Main duties of the job

During the day you will accompany her to her educational setting and provide full support with her physical and clinical needs during school hours.

Upon arrival to her home on a night shift, she will already be settled down for bed and often has a restful nights sleep with minimal interruptions. Overnight, you will offer comfort and reassurance when needed, as well as promoting a restful environment. You will tend to her clinical interventions and ensure that her needs are met in a timely manner.

Please note, there are 3 cats in our service users home so it is essential that you are comfortable around pets.

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

We have the following shifts available

  • Part Time
  • Days: 9am 3pm (Mon-Fri)
  • Nights: 8pm 7am (Mon Sun)

Take a look at our pay rates

Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (£78 approx. per 6-hour shift)

Weeknights: £13.50 per hour (£148.50 approx. per 11-hour shift)

Weekends: £14.00 per hour (£154 approx. per 11-hour shift)

Bank Holiday: £16.00 per hour (£176 approx. per 11-hour shift)
