Apollo Home Healthcare are seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support our young service users with their complex care needs.

We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about delivering the highest quality one-to-one care for our service user whilst building positive relationships with them and their family.

Our service users are two young siblings who live with their family in Birmingham, they require support throughout the day and night.

You will be clinically trained to care for both girls however, you will only be providing care on a 1:1 basis.

They enjoy playing with musical instruments, exploring sensory lights and love the interaction from there care team especially when carers sing to them.

Throughout the day your role will be to support with the morning routine at home before accompanying them to their educational setting.

We are looking for staff who are comfortable around pets as our service users have several pets within the property

Our service users have specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Main duties of the job

At their educational setting you will carry out daily tasks such as personal care and closely observe and tend to clinical care needs when required, ensure comfort, promote social interaction, support engagement with learning and promote ongoing development.

Throughout the night you will be required to attend to complex and clinical care needs, support with personal care, regular monitoring and offering comfort and reassurance when needed to promote a restful nights sleep.

We have the following shifts available;

  • Full Time Nights
  • 10:00pm - 8:00am
  • Full Time Days
  • Mondays & Tuesdays- 8:00am 4:30pm

  • Weekdays: £13.50 per hour (£114.75 approx. per 8.5-hour shift)
  • Weeknights: £14.00 per hour (£140 approx. per 10-hour shift)
  • Saturday: £14.00 per hour (£140 approx. per 10-hour shift)
  • Sunday: £14.00 per hour (£140 approx. per 10-hour shift)
  • Bank Holiday: £15.50 per hour (£155 approx. per 10-hour shift)
