Job summary

We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants in Bromyard, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality one-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in their own home.

Meet our service user

Our service user is a happy little boy who lives with his loving family in Bromyard, he requires support throughout the day on a 1:1 basis to support with his complex care needs.

He enjoys playing with interactive toys, especially his musical toys and watching his favourite TV programme Hey Duggee. He loves to be around people, interacting with others, looking at his favourite books and having cuddles especially when hes feeling tired.

As he lives on a farm he enjoys being out and exploring, he loves a ride on the tractor and has a pony which he enjoys going out riding with his family.

We are looking for staff who are comfortable around animals as our service user lives on a farm. There are two dogs which are in the property but also free roaming farm animals.

It is essential that you have a valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle as our service user lives in a rural location

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Main duties of the job

Throughout the day your role will be to support with his morning routine and daily tasks such as washing, dressing, and getting him ready for the day before accompanying him to his educational setting.

At his educational setting you will closely observe and tend to his clinical care needs when required, ensure his comfort, promote social interaction, support his engagement with his learning and promote ongoing development.

We have the following shifts available;

  • Part Time Days
  • Monday - Friday
  • 8:00am-4:00pm

Weekdays: £15.00 per hour (£120.00 approx. per 8-hour shift)

Bank Holiday: £17.00 per hour (£136.00 approx. per 8-hour shift)
