Job summary

West Kent Primary Care are looking to recruit a Digital Transformation Lead on behalf ofTunbridge Wells Primary Care Network (PCN) to work within the Senior Management Team on a range of digital transformation projects.

The will offer the post-holder autonomy to deliver PCN digital projects and the ability to make a real difference to the way we work. We are a looking for an experienced project manager and transformation lead with considerable project experience ideally within an NHS environment.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will help the PCN adopt new technology and other initiatives to improve access to care and enable PCN staff to work more effectively to support the sustainability of general practice services.We are looking for an enabler who can bring substantial benefit to our PCN with impact from the start, delivering key projectssuch as digital triage,patient flow management,development of new shared care systems,onlinesignposting, PCN Website, social media, promotion of the NHS App and optimising the use of clinical systems.

Essential

  • Professional qualification or experience in IM&T to demonstrate subject matter expertise
  • Project management qualification, such as PRINCE or equivalent experience

Desirable

  • Educated to master's degree level or equivalent professional experience
  • Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) qualification

Experience

Essential

  • Experience in project delivery through the entire project lifecycle from initiation to delivery
  • Leadership skills to influence others and initiate and implement change
  • Ability to report professional reports

Desirable

  • At least five years experience in Digital / IM&T project management or transformation experience in a Health or Social Care Environment

Other Knowledge

Essential

  • Good understanding of the Digital agenda within the NHS and Social Care Sector
  • Good understanding of current healthcare policy relating to primary care and integrated care
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and good keyboard skills
