- Youll need to have a clinical or management degree, or equivalent level of ability gained through vocational experience.
- You will need strong line management experience, able to manage, lead and co-ordinate staff across various locations.
- You will also have proven experience in managing budgets, taking financial accountability for the services.
Contract type:
This is a full time, permanent contract working 37.5 hours Monday Friday.
Main duties of the job
Public Health & Diagnostics Service Manager
We are looking for a Service Manager to lead the Federations Public Health & Diagnostic Services.
What is the role?
- You will be responsible for the safe, smooth, and effective operational oversight and management of the Federations Public Health & Diagnostics Services, which includes Cervical Screening, Cardiology, NHS Health Checks and Ultrasound.
- You will work closely with the Clinical Leads in each service, and also the Operations Director to drive the services forward.
- You will focus on the delivery of high quality, patient centred, cost effective services, which meet the requirements of the Federations strategy and the commissioners.
