We are looking for a motivated CCAB qualified accountant, who is driven to succeed, thrives on leading improvement, and has a real commitment to work as part of a team to take the finance function forward. Our team focus is on using finance expertise to ensure we achieve best value for money within the resources available to us. As one of our Senior Finance Managers, you will ensure we have robust financial controls across the organisation, a consistent structure for decision making, and supported by your advice and guidance.

After achieving our Future Focused Finance (FFF) Level 1 Accreditation, we have a priority for personal and directorate development to strive for the highest standards of financial support for the ICB as a whole, and for the patients of our commissioned services.
Main duties of the job
In this exciting new role, you will have the autonomy to use initiative to improve financial controls, develop financial governance policies, implement audit recommendations and lead the delivery of key financial projects.
The role will be responsible for the Financial Control team; overseeing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury Management and the ICB's ledger integrity. There will be ample opportunities to manage projects including leading the delivery of the Annual Accounts and Inter-NHS balances.
