Job summary

Reporting to the Digital Transformation Manager - Corporate & Primary Care, the Digital Asset Librarian is part of the Digital Development & Information Governance team. We are seeking a dedicated individual to support the Derbyshire Pathfinder programme, a multi-organisational collaboration within the Joined Up Care Derbyshire (JUCD) Integrated Care System (ICS).

Pathfinder is an integrated IT-enabled solution designed to provide GPs and primary care professionals with quick access to clinical guidance, referral pathways, and patient information at the point of contact. Currently embedded within GP clinical systems, this initiative aims to reduce waiting times and ensure patients are placed on the correct clinical pathways with sufficient supporting information, moving the system into a sotware-as-a-service application.

The primary aim of the role is to ensure that all resources within Pathfinder have the appropriate approvals and that the origin of all documents and resources is accurately documented. This will involve working closely with colleagues in Primary Care, acute hospitals, community providers, and mental health trusts across Derbyshire and surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and experience using electronic data management systems.

As this is a new role, you will have the chance to actively shape the role and to develop processes.

Main duties of the job

The main responsibilities are summarised below, more detail can be found in the role description and person specification:

  • Plan, develop, manage, and deliver the system-wide content repository for Derbyshire Pathfinder.
  • Identify local resources and create a data management system for Derbyshire Pathfinder content.
  • Co-ordinate with various organisations and individuals to research and include pathways, guidance, clinical forms, and documents in Derbyshire Pathfinder.
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and log documents using an electronic document management system for easy indexing, storage, and retrieval.
  • Develop and maintain a version control process for Derbyshire Pathfinder.
  • Develop and amend data collection forms and resources as needed.
  • Review documents for regulatory compliance, create revisions, and archive outdated versions.
  • Distribute documents to relevant parties, ensuring they take necessary actions and recording decisions.
