Derby and DerbyshireIntegrated Care Board (ICB) is seeking an exceptional Associate Director of Business Intelligence to play a pivotal role in revolutionising how we understand and utilise data to transform services and improve population health.

We are looking for a leader who is focused on enhancing quality, safety, productivity, innovation and the effective delivery of population health management and improvements in health inequalities through the effective use of business intelligence across Joined Up Care Derbyshire (JUCD).

Working closely with colleagues across JUCD within a matrix environment to ensure a coherent strategy, the Associate Director of Business Intelligence will take a leading role in the development of population health analytics to improve the health of the people of Derbyshire, reduce inequalities, and realise health economy benefits from relevant innovations in healthcare.

Main duties of the job

  • Lead the Population Health Intelligence agenda, collaborating closely with the Executive Team and Directors to drive impactful change.

  • Manage and develop Business Intelligence Information systems across the organisation and Derbyshire system partners.

  • Provide expert advice on Business Intelligence and Population Health Intelligence to the Derbyshire Integrated Care Board.

  • Accountable for developing and delivering strategy, promoting innovation and supporting operational excellence in the organisation with respect to Business Intelligence.

  • Oversee the full range of Business Intelligence Services including dashboard development, reporting, and consultancy.

  • Lead the development and maintenance of the business intelligence frameworks and associated processes for the ICB, ensuring all national and local targets are met.
