In this new role, you'll help us communicate with our internal and external audiences, creating and delivering content that brings our work to life across a range of channels and platforms.
As well as ensuring our social media channels, websites and external bulletins reflect the issues and campaigns that matter most, you'll play a key role in helping to make sure our staff have access to the up-to-date information they need.
You'll help us to deliver a professional and responsive media and public affairs service, responding to journalist and parliamentary enquiries, while working proactively to share our news.
And you'll help to run a series of high-profile campaigns, working with internal teams, system peers and external partners to raise awareness and influence behaviour change that will have a positive long-term impact on the lives of local residents.
It's a busy job - you'll need to juggle multiple projects, delivering high-quality, engaging content and campaigns, on time and on message - but a great opportunity to take the next step in your communications career in a collegiate and supportive environment.

Main duties of the job
We're looking for someone who can:
- Create and share high-quality, engaging content across a range of internal and external channels (including videos, podcasts, infographics, features and interviews)
- draft and edit clear, high-quality editorial content for a range of channels including eBulletins, press releases, media statements and social media.
- help respond to questions from journalists, MPs and the parliamentary hub, working with colleagues to co-ordinate accurate and high-quality responses.
- support, create and deliver multi-channel, content-led campaigns in support of the ICB's population health ambitions, tailoring national campaigns to help them resonate at local level
- use our social media channels to widen reach, working with system partners to amplify each other's content and celebrate achievements, including maximising the potential of paid for advertising.
- ensure content on our corporate websites and staff intranet is relevant and up to date, working with page owners to draft clear and accessible web ready content.
- help us respond to emergency or unforeseen events, including developing and publishing accurate and high-quality content at pace.
- help plan and deliver a range of internal and external events.
- act as a first point of contact for email enquiries into the team, ensuring that we respond quickly and helpfully.
