Job summary

NCL ICB has an exciting opportunity for a content editor to join the NCL GP Website Team as a GP Website Editor.- Please note that we do not offer visa sponsorship!

The NCL GP Websites aims to give GPs and primary care staff easy access to clinical information, pathways, news, information for practice managers, medicines management information, and learning and development opportunities.

As a GP Website Editor, you will be responsible for the publication of online resources for GPs across all five boroughs of North Central London. The successful candidate will work as part of a small team but must be able to work on their own initiative while liaising with different stakeholders across the NHS, council and voluntary sector.

The role supports the NCL GP Website and helps ensure that the information on the website is up to date and accessible at all times. You should be able to edit large amounts of information quickly and communicate it succinctly to support keeping general practices up to date with the latest news.

The post holder will have previous experience in delivering excellent customer care, collaborating with a range of stakeholders, managing and updating information on a website.

The ICB has adopted a blended (home/office) working pattern, but you may be required to travel and work at any ICB establishment at any time, within NCL ICB.

We are looking for applicants with editing skills and familiarity with working in website content management systems.

You should have excellent attention to detail, and be able to take on a complex task and pursue all avenues to complete it.

You will need to be self-motivated, with excellent communication and organisational skills.

You will need to be able to work to a brief, and each day you will need to manage competing priorities.

You will need to communicate clearly with stakeholders, maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
