Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning team, that is delivering an innovative change portfolio across multiple organisations within North Central London.
Reporting into the Director of Transformation, this role is an important senior leadership role within North Central London ICB Transformation Unit and will lead our system PMO, which has been established to:
o Lead the development of our approach to change and innovation;
o Support the training and professional development of Project/Programme Managers across the organisation.
o Drive a consistent methodology, processes, and templates across the organisation.
o Develop a consistent approach to defining projects and programmes, project phases and stage gates across the organisation.
o Implement a common approach to prioritisation, programme governance and programme risk management.
The successful candidate will be a proactive, driven, delivery focussed individual, who has experience of establishing and developing an organisations approach to change and programme management.
Main duties of the job
The role will focus on supporting a portfolio of priority strategic programmes for the ICS.The postholder will oversee a portfolio management team that will be responsible forcoordinating the design and delivery of strategic programmes. This will also include workingclosely with key NCL ICS executive level groups.The Senior Programme Lead will have excellent communication skills and be able to work atfast pace with senior stakeholders across all sectors (acute, primary care, mental health,community and social care). They will also need to work across different directorates within theICS teams to ensure alignment of programme design and delivery.
There is also a requirement for the postholder to be able to draft a strategy and delivery plan(s)for the selected strategic programme areas and engage/consult with/influence the appropriatestakeholder groups to attain buy in where required. This will include successfully leading onthe successful design, agreement and delivery of key strategic business cases that span multiple sovereign organisations.Enable and assure the delivery of major structural, cultural and transformational change necessary to achieve the objectives of a portfolio of system wide transformation programmes.The Senior Programme Lead will also need to work flexibly to support other relatedworkstreams, teams and strategies.
