About us

At NCL ICB, we are committed to ensuring equity & promoting inclusion in everything we do. We aim to have a workforce that is drawn from diverse backgrounds that reflect the community we serve. If you share our values & ambitions for people living in North Central London & have the skills & experience to drive our Clinical Leadership portfolio forward, then we would be delighted to receive your application.

On 1 July 2022, NHS North Central London Integrated Care Board (NCL ICB) was established. NCL ICB is part of the North Central London Integrated Care System (ICS). The ICS is a partnership of organisations that come together to plan & deliver joined up health & care services to improve the lives of people in our five boroughs: Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington.

ICBs are statutory NHS bodies responsible for planning & allocating resources to meet four core purposes of ICSs:

  • Improve outcomes in population health & healthcare
  • Tackle inequalities in outcomes, experience & access
  • Enhance productivity & value for money
  • Help the NHS support broader social & economic development

North Central London's population is incredibly diverse & continues to grow & change. This brings pressure & challenges for the local health & care services that NCL ICB commissions - or buys - on behalf of residents. NCL ICB works closely with local councils, providers, general practices & primary care, voluntary & community organisations, & unions, to achieve our shared aims.
