Job summary
The CHC Administrator will provide a high quality service for NCL CCG to support in the effective delivery of the Continuing Healthcare (CHC) process from. The post holder will be the first point of contact for all discharge to assess, home first and community assessments and appeals. The post holder will liaise with referrers, appellants and/or their representatives to ensure all assessments and appeals regarding Continuing Healthcare are robust, transparent and timely. The post holder will independently co-ordinate assessments within set time scales. The post holder will collect and collate all data relating to the pathways complete and present reports.

The role of the senior administrator within Continuing Healthcare (CHC) is to provide support to our clinical and managerial staff to enable the smooth running of the service, providing the best possible experience to our patient's within North Central London.
Experience within a Continuing Healthcare team would be advantageous but not essential for the right candidate.

- Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area
- Knowledge of administrative procedures, project management or information analysis in CHC

- Management / Supervisory qualification.

- Significant experience of working within a busy and high profile environment with complex issues, competing priorities and workloads.
- Experience of taking minutes and action notes at meetings.
- Create, develop and maintain Excel databases, presenting concerns, progress information, monitor and draft improvement plans.
- Ability to successfully negotiate solutions, resource and time skills using tact and persuasion.
- Touch typist with a minimum typing speed of 40 - 60 words per minute.

- Knowledge of data protection principles.
