Job summary
We are excited to advertise a new role with in BSW ICB, which will play a leading role in spearheading the transformation of our People Services as well as playing a critical role in leading major change and organisational development programmes for enabling inclusive colleague engagement.
You will offer expert advice in line with the People and OD strategy, as well as the BSW (Bath, North East Somerset Swindon, and Wiltshire) ICB's corporate objectives and values. You will provide strategic leadership on HR matters as well as being a subject expert on employment law, delivering effective HR services within the ICB.
As a naturally compassionate leader, you will foster relationships across all directorates within BSW, with regular exposure to the Extended Leadership and Executive Leadership team.
We are a happy and enthusiastic team, which is currently helping the organisation go through a large, complexed organisation change process.

Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Deputy Chief People Officer, you will provide senior leadership for the HR team. Your role will be crucial in leading the transformation of People services, offering expert advice and direction aligned with the People & OD strategy, BSW ICB corporate objectives, and BSW ICB values. This includes enhancing the experience of staff and improving the overall quality and efficiency of services.
You will ensure that employee relations cases are managed effectively in line with just culture and best people practices principles, ensuring that learning is taken from all cases to improve organisational culture and practice.

BSW ICB have adopted agile working so this means the successful applicant will predominately be working from home but may be requested to work in any one of the ICB's office bases across BaNES, Swindon and Wiltshire. You will also have a contractual base within the BSW ICB office where your team is based.
