Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainer to deliver the mandatory Oliver McGowan training to employees across organisations within the BSW ICB.
The post holder will support the BSW Academy and the ICS employer leads to ensure that their workstream of programmes are planned and managed effectively and take the lead on the successful delivery of the taught programme
Main duties of the job
Co-manage the Training Team including trainers with lived experience.
Liaise with ICS leads, LD leads, learning leads and NHSE leads to inform the delivery of a high quality programme
Manage all corporate business returns, including planning and training compliance returns with support from the Oliver McGowan project implementation officer
Take a co-lead in the coordination of training & development and recruitment activity across the Oliver McGowan training Team adhering to NHSE guidelines
Demonstrate positivity, recognising the strengths and abilities of people with a learning disability and autistic people who are co-facilitators, including the learners
Gain an understanding of the perspectives and personal references of each person with a learning disability and autistic person when co-facilitating, including reference to learners
Participate in the training of other trainers as per NHSE guidelines
