Job summary
The post holder will deliver an effective and competent level of analytical and administration support for both Primary Care IT and Corporate IT. They will be required to undertake minutes and actions whilst in attendance of key operational, strategic and IG meetings.
The post holder will also provide support in relation to the Information Governance functions of the department.
Main duties of the job
To deal with routine IT and information governance enquiries in a pleasant and helpful manner, communicating relevant information to stakeholders, referring to others as appropriate.
To answer telephone calls, taking messages and passing on accurately to the relevant departments/person.To undertake minutes and actions whilst in attendance of key operational, strategic and IG meetings.To undertake photocopying and word processing of documents, letters, emails and reports when required, possessing a standard level of keyboard skills and ability to use Microsoft Office programmes.To work on own initiative, prioritising work, within defined policies and procedures to set timescales.To have a flexible/adaptable approach to their work in order to meet various deadlines.To be responsible for organising meetings for the department and planning any administrative work as required.To demonstrate office systems and department requirements to new starters.To input into, monitor and print reports from computerised systemsTo undertake Research and Development as directed.To carry out other appropriate delegated duties as required.
