Job summary
We are looking to recruit two project managers to join our team working on the development of the South and West Herts Health and Care Partnership.
The programme is focussed on how we work together as a group of partners across health, social care and the voluntary sectors (amongst others) to improve the services we provide and improve the health of our population.
This role would be excellent for someone looking to build on some existing experience working on projects with an interest in improving the health and wellbeing of our population.

Main duties of the job
To provide project management to pieces of work in the South and West Herts Health and Care Partnership and as part of the Integrated Care Programme, a team which co-ordinates a range of projects involving joint working and integration of social care and the NHS.
The Integrated Care Programme team is responsible for working with health and social care partners (providers and commissioners) to achieve better outcomes for people, including those with complex long-term conditions. It is responsible for leading on the project management of a number of high-profile integration projects and the administration of a number of integration programmes.

- Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level qualification or significant experience of working at a similar level in specialist area
- Experience of managing risks and reporting
- Comprehensive knowledge of project principles, techniques and tools, such as Prince 2 Foundation and Microsoft Project

- Experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment

- Ability to prepare and produce concise yet insightful communications for dissemination to senior stakeholders and a broad range of stakeholders as required
