Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Transformational HR team at Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB). We are currently implementing a new People Directorate structure and the successful candidate will be integral to the team as we work towards transforming and re-shaping the internal HR and OD service and providing a high quality, responsive service to all our employees and managers.
The Transformational HR Team is part of the ICBs wider People Directorate, which provides system leadership and collaboration opportunities to deliver People initiatives across all sectors, professions and backgrounds across the Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership.
This is a varied, exciting, challenging but most of all hugely rewarding role. The HR Manager will provide visible, credible and effective HR expertise in order to deliver a high quality service, forging strong relationships with stakeholders internally/externally, and building the reputation of collaborative partnership working and innovation in the provision of HR services
Main duties of the job
As a key member of the HR team, you will be responsible for the provision of high quality strategic and operational workforce support to ensure best practice HR management and the pro-active resolution of employee relations issues across the ICB using a restorative approach that promotes fairness and allows the organisation to grow and learn.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external partners to develop, implement and advise on best practice to maximise the workforce contribution to the ICB and improve employee experience. This will require you to provide expert advice and support across a wide range of highly complex and highly sensitive employment matters where there may not be an existing precedent.
You will have responsibility for the development of HR policies and practices to strengthen line management capability, Provide advice and guidance on complex employee relations cases and lead on complex organisational change programmes

The Health and Care Partnership comprises of NHS organisations, local councils, health and care providers and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations.
