As an Administrator for the Humber Transforming Care programme, you will be part of an innovative and forward-thinking team who are dedicated to improving care and support for people who have a learning disability and autistic people.

We are looking for someone to work with us, to provide full time maternity cover for one year. The main purpose of this job is to provide admin support for our Admissions avoidance and discharge facilitation hub (known as “The Hub”).

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be the point of contact for the admissions avoidance and discharge facilitation hub on general matters, ensuring a high standard of communication and confidentiality when handling patient and staff sensitive issues, using the appropriate discretion and ensuring that queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently.

Administrative support will be provided in relation to Transforming Care and LeDeR programmes, and specifically to support the admissions avoidance and discharge facilitation hub.

As well as supporting the hub’s clinicians with diary management, arranging meetings and note taking, a large and very important part of the role is to support the team by planning and arranging Care, Education and Treatment reviews for people who have a learning disability or who are autistic, who are in hospital or may be at risk of admission due to a crisis.

The postholder may choose to work remotely from home, but will be required to occasionally work from the office or attend meetings in person.

The postholder will ensure effective time management through organisation and maintenance of the diaries for the hub’s Clinical Leads; making arrangements and take decisions in organising and rearranging appointments as necessary.

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (or existing proven skills)
  • Word processing skills to RSA III standard or equivalent experience
