Improvement (North East & Yorkshire) has an exciting opportunity to work in
its Yorkshire and the Humber locality. The Dental team are responsible for the commissioning, contracting, development and performance management of
all primary, community and secondary care dental contracts within its locality.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can work as part of
the wider team to ensure services for patients are to the highest standard. The
post holder will have excellent communication skills, be able to analyse,
interpret and present information in an accessible manner. Whilst team working
skills are key, being able to work independently and manage multiple demands
and priorities are essential.As Contract Support Officer you will be
responsible in supporting the Contracts managers in all contracting matters
across the three ICB's flexible.
As Contract Support
Officer you will be responsible in supporting the Contracts managers in all
contracting matters across the three ICB's flexible. This is a new role within
the Dental team that will allow the postholder to gain a greater understanding of
the Dental agenda working on a number of portfolios.
Main duties of the job
As
Contract Support Officer, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team
in robust contract management and commissioning of Dental services across
Yorkshire and Humber.
The post holder will:
Support Contract Mangers in managing
a portfolio of projects and workstreams.
Work with teams to ensure that
tasks/projects are planned, managed and delivered effectively, working across
the full team to enable effective and efficient skill mix.
Support and inform the prioritisation
of work, by providing high quality project management support, including
analysis of complex information, risk assessment, timed action plans,
communications and stakeholder management.
Ensure accurate and open
communication and co-ordination with a range of organisations and individuals,
drafting correspondence and papers and ensuring the effective management of
specific tasks, reporting and analysis across a range of specialties, functions
and projects.

(Y&H) Dental Commissioning Team is hosted by Humber and North Yorkshire
(HNY) Integrated Care Board (ICB) but works across the 3 ICB areas of HNY,
South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire.
Through
a hybrid working environment of both home-working and in-office days, you will
work with like-minded individuals who are keen to improve access to dental
services and to improve health outcomes of those living across Y&H.

- Workforce development Knowledge and experience
- Previous experience in a similar role in the public sector or within the NHS
