Job summary
This is a fixed-term/Secondment contract
to 31 March 2025.
Over the period of this role, you will focus on supporting the
communications and engagement for:
housing and care providers within
the independent sector
Service Users, families,
and all other stakeholder
Using existing social media and other channels but
also creating new ways to reach a range of audiences and partners who deliver
Learning Disability and Autism Services.
Engaging widely with internal and external
stakeholders across the area who can support with promoting the opportunities
available and developing new ways to communicate and come together.
It is important to be able to understand issues from the service
user and providers perspective and ensure the deliverables of the work can be
achieved. You must be able to articulate issues to and communicate with
non-technical stakeholders and service users and families.
You will be a key member of the Market Development team which is
expected to deliver projects relating to Housing, workforce, training, and
advocacy to agreed timescales. There is
an opportunity to work and develop alongside internal and external partner
organisations to make a difference.
Main duties of the job
You will be part of a small team
where you will be able to develop innovative approaches to the work and
projects which will require the engagement and co-production from
stakeholders. There is an opportunity
of development to set up systems and be part of wider projects.
You will be expected to work with
the public including service users, families and other organisations in a
variety of locations and using all means of communications and technology.
The main duties of this role:
Engaging with housing and
care providers other stakeholders to build and maintain partnerships.
Produce engaging,
informative content using all media forms for service users, families, and all
other stakeholders.
Organising engagement
events and forums ensuring they are inclusive and accessible to all.
Supporting with
communication and co-production which will support the workplan of the team.
Ensuring accurate and
timely information is provided to support project and programme reporting of
the Transforming Care Partnership Goals
The post holder will be required to travel
across the Humber TCP area (Hull, East Riding, North Lincolnshire and North
East Lincolnshire).

This new post is hosted by East Riding of Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership but supports the Humber Transforming Care Programme across the Transforming Care Partnership area, i.e., East Riding of Yorkshire, Hull, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire
The post holder will develop
partnerships and support to our stakeholders to develop innovation and
implement projects in line with the Transforming Care Partnerships strategic
objectives.
The
individual will be a key member of the team delivering a wide scope of
initiatives to an all age population and would be expected to achieve project
objectives including:
supporting coproduction, engagement, and
communications activities for the Transforming Care Programme
Implement project plans and monitor project
implementations against clear outcomes agreed by the TCP Workstreams in line
with the TCP strategic objectives.
Communicate with a variety of stakeholders both
internal and external about the TCP programme areas to enhance engagement with
individuals.
Maintain project updates and key tasks including
risk registers and highlight reports and ensure that all projects are
documented on the overall TCP Delivery Plan
Development of complex project plans for
presentation to and use across multiple project and programme areas.
To support the TCP Market Development team in
overseeing and co-ordinating the involvement of external Providers and all
relevant stakeholders in all aspects of activity within the TCP
Establish links with service user and carer
organisations and explore areas for potential collaboration.
Mapping External Providers of current practice and
levels of involvement in Learning Disabilities and /or Autism
Provide support and assistance to ad hoc projects,
as required.
Work as part of the TCP team undertaking
responsibilities as directed.
