This is a 12 month fixed term post.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the People Directorate of the Humber & North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) for a Project Management Support Officer. The post holder will sit within the New Ways of Working Team which leads on workforce transformation and service redesign. This role will be key in helping us to deliver and shape this work across the Integrated Care System (ICS).

The successful candidate will work closely with the Workforce Transformation Leads and across the ICB geographical region. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced individual, to help us drive this workforce agenda. The work will include building rapport and relationships with other ICB colleagues, collaboratives, and our wide range of stakeholders from multiple sectors and organisations such as, Primary and Secondary Health Care, Social Care, Voluntary and third sector organisations.

The post holder will be knowledgeable and be able to promote the benefits of identifying, developing, and embedding new ways of working and new roles across the system, which ultimately aims to increase service efficiency, improve staff recruitment and retention, and reduce health inequalities.

Main duties of the job

Working across all teams within the ICB People Team, the post holder will provide additional ongoing senior project management support to each of the programmes, to support the delivery of their objectives. This will entail leading discreet complex, timebound, projects to bolster the project management resource in the overall People Team, to meet peeks in demand and service activity.

Support the Transformation Leads to manage and lead on projects when required using defined project management principles.

Support, facilitate and monitor progress of defined projects.

Liaise with various stakeholders across the system to log and coordinate the compilation of all incoming and outgoing project documentation, ensure documents are up to date and maintained to the required standard required for good governance.

Participating in specific project meetings, taking minutes, actions, risks, and issues.

Support the development of business cases, project initiation documents and presentations in-line with project management principles when required.

Manage the New Ways of Working Team SharePoint site to ensure access lists are appropriate and information governance standards are maintained.

Help to develop the New Ways of Working website content.

Work with partners and stakeholders to support system working and system wide delivery

The successful candidate will be employed by NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) but will operate at system-level. This means you will work across a large health and care system, in collaboration, to support all partnership organisations to understand and achieve our workforce aspirations.
