Gloucestershire
Integrated Care Board (ICB) is seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant
Director to lead our Vaccinations, Immunisations and Screening programme and
teams. You will have overall responsibility for the management and development
of vaccine, immunisation and screening programmes in line with accountabilities
allocated to the Integrated Care System (ICS).
As Assistant
Director you will lead the design of the future operating model for the
management of the Covid-19 and other vaccination programmes, including the delegation
of immunisation and screening responsibilities from NHS England to
Gloucestershire ICB by April 2026.
Main duties of the job
Reporting to
the Chief Nursing Officer, the postholder will be a senior member of the
Clinical and Quality Directorate and will have recent experience of working
across large complex organisations with a successful record of delivery,
preferably in vaccinations.

and continue the great work in the strategic and operational leadership of
delivering the Covid vaccination programme.
The role
presents the opportunity to both ensure the effective mobilisation of the
spring booster programme and to take the learning from our collective
successful Covid and Flu vaccination programmes and shape the future operating
model for delivering both.
The successful
applicant will drive leadership across the ICS and continue to build and
maintain excellent collaborative working relationships with a broad range of
internal and external stakeholders. Lead and develop a high profile, complex
local programmes within a fluid and challenging environment, ensuring highly
collaborative stakeholder relationships, excellent programme governance and
effective and timely delivery of a range of services and initiatives.

- On-going roll-out of the Covid-19, Flu and RSV vaccination programmes ensuring effective mobilisation of the booster programmes.
