Job summary
This is an exciting time to work within an Integrated Care Board.
Gloucestershire ICB is part of One Gloucestershire ICS. It is a dynamic
organisation working in a fast-moving and ever-changing environment making
significant improvements in the delivery of health and social care services for
our population of approximately 680,000. The county covers a large geographical
area made up of approximately 64 GP Practices within seven localities and 15
PCNs which include a mixture of rural and urban areas.
We have an opportunity within the Medicines Optimisation Team at
Gloucestershire ICB in the Clinical and Quality Directorate.
This team is looking to continue to develop their Project Management
Team who support important and challenging projects with our Pharmacy Team.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual that can
bring:-

Delivery Focus- provide
high quality project management support via best practice project management
approaches and facilitating document management and reporting.

Organisation-
co-ordinate an effective review ad challenge process across projects to ensure
performance and delivery of key objectives.
-
Collaboration- work
closely with clinicians, key partners and stakeholders to deliver improvements
in health and care for the Gloucestershire population.
This is a varied and stimulating role with plenty of opportunity for
further professional development.

from provider organisations, and as necessary public health, county council,
district councils and the VCS amongst others.

collaborative working across health and social care organisations within
Gloucestershire including the third sector and patient and public
representative organisations and groups.

- Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area.
- At least 2 years experience of working in commissioning, and / or health services planning within the public sector
- (desirable).
- Experience of data analysis and using information to evaluate and drive improvement.
- Experience of developing and delivering improvement and efficiency plans.
- Experience in communications and stakeholder management.
- Experience in previous project management and understanding of project management methodologies.
Desirable
- Some Experience in project management, including needs assessment, monitoring and evaluation.
- Experience of collaborative working across organisations.
- Experience and understanding of evaluating and measuring the performance of health services.
Skills
Essential
- Able to communicate information effectively verbally and
- in writing report writing, briefing papers, making presentations, board papers.
- Able to learn rapidly about current research, information and activities.
- Able to be self-motivated, use initiative and work to tight and often changing deadlines.
