Job summary

This is an exciting; fixed term/secondment opportunity to work as a Senior Project Manager in a fast-paced Primary Care Team, to cover current maternity leave. Our team has delegated responsibility for the whole of Primary Care, which covers General Practice, Community Pharmacy, Optometry and Dental services.

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills, possesses good project management and organisational skills, has financial and Microsoft Office skills and is well-versed in working to tight timescales. They must be able to work autonomously and be able to engage in meetings with Senior Managers, Clinical Directors and PCN Business Managers. NHS Service Improvement experience would be advantageous.

Main duties of the job

The Senior Project Manager will be working to the Deputy Director of Primary Care & Place to:

Assessing, monitoring, and supporting the evaluation of local PCN Quality Improvement Projects, liaising with PCN Business Managers, Clinical Directors and ICB departments frequently.

Supporting the management and reporting of the Primary Care Access Recovery Plan (PCARP), including to ICB Board.

Ensure PCN projects are sufficiently scoped to meet PCN contract requirements
