An exciting opportunity has arisen
for an experienced Project Manager to join the Strategy & Transformation
Directorate at NHS Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (ICB). Help drive
health and wellbeing initiatives by working across both the Clinical Programme
Group (CPG) and Healthy Communities & Individuals teams to make a positive
difference to the lives of people who live in Gloucestershire.
The successful candidate will work
in partnership with a range of statutory and third sector organisations across
Gloucestershire to empower individuals and communities to take charge of their
own health and wellbeing with a focus on prevention, new models of care and
health behaviours.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
Oversee a
portfolio of projects to ensure they are planned, managed, and delivered effectively.
Develop effective working relationships with a wide range of partner organisations to ensure
co-ordinated action within projects.
Be a key member of the ICS team as well as supporting effective communication
and stakeholder management, both internally and externally, including patient
and public engagement within communities.
Support
and inform the targeting of resources, monitoring, implementation, and
evaluation of tasks/projects.
Support
delivery against strategic objectives.
To
undertake research of best practice delivered elsewhere and be aware of updated
and developing national or other external guidance.
Contribute to the development of service
specifications and redesign of care pathways to ensure services commissioned
provide quality and value for money.
Utilise effective transformation, service
redesign and project management techniques (such as process mapping) so ensure
effective project design, delivery, implementation, and evaluation.
Develop and agree commissioning and service
development plans with partners.
Test and review new concepts, models, methods,
practices, products, and equipment to ensure innovative approaches embedded
within project areas.
