Job summary
NHS Englands data for research and development (R&D) directorate put out a funding call for regions across England to establish a sub-national secure data environment (SNSDE), the investments will be made over a period of 3 years. London put out a bid to establish the London SNSDE which has been successful, this environment is now live with 2.7 million populations from North West London and we are looking to scale this up to London over the course of this year.
We are looking for a strong technical leader who can lead the conversations with other parts of London and support shaping the technical architecture of London SNSDE to meet the service needs.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for someone with:
- Extensive experience of leading developments of data platform
- Experience of working with national and regional teams
- Thorough understanding of common data models, understanding of health and care datasets
- Strong technical skills and ability to lead the technical delivery of the programme.
- Able to contribute to the implementation of complex information projects within this programme of delivery
- Interpret client requests and develop local Statements of Work
- Manage the budget for the programme and the shape the team required to deliver the programme.
