Job summary
The Suffolk and
North East Essex ICB are looking for a Clinical Systems Manager to work
within the Digital and IT team.
This hybrid role is primarily remote, but requires occasional in-person attendance at meetings in Suffolk & Northeast Essex. Additionally, the role demands physical presence for about two weeks during clinical system migrations, typically once or twice a year, but potentially more often.
The postholder will be highly visible, ensuring stakeholders and digital primary care users
are actively involved and informed in the delivery of Digital and IT services
and the wider system Digital Primary Care Strategy.
As the successful
candidate,
You will be confident and have the ability to manage a small team, often remotely via email and using Microsoft TEAMS.
You will ideally have experience of Primary Care clinical systems including
SystmOne and/or EMIS Web.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability represent
the Digital and IT team at all levels in the organisation.
You will be results driven and promote and environment of open
communication
Experience of managing change in an organisation.
You will demonstrate inclusivity and value diversity.
Main duties of the job
The role will provide management, organisation, development, and the teams delivery of in-depth, specialist support to all matters related to clinical
systems that are supported by the ICB's Digital & IT department.
Clinical Systems Management & Support
To line manage the staff within the small Clinical Systems team.
To assemble and manage the various Clinical Systems Service project
tasks required to progress SNEE ICB in line with their Digital & IT
strategy.
Oversee the management and development of whole health system approach to second
line support, problem management, training and specialist support to users and
managers of clinical systems.
Work with the Training Hub and PCN Digital &
Transformation Leads to ensure best and most strategic use of systems to benefit GP practices.
Plan, lead, monitor, and co-ordinate specified
projects to deliver agreed outcomes within specified constraints.
Be responsible for overall project progress, use of
resources and delivery of outcomes.
