Job summary
Suffolk and
North East Essex ICB is looking to recruit an Alliance Estates Lead to work as
part of the ICBs Estates Team supporting oversight, development and
optimisation of estate across SNEE with a particular focus on supporting
primary care estate across the three alliances.
The role will
include oversight and support of primary care estate development including
business case review, along with supporting the development and delivery of PCN
estate strategies and alliance delivery plans, ensuring they align to the
ambitions and objectives of the System Estates Infrastructure Strategy and
Joint Forward Plan. The postholder will work as part of a small, dedicated
estates team whilst being supported by the multi-disciplinary teams across the
Suffolk and North East Essex ICB along with system partner estate
professionals. This is an exciting time to work within estates across SNEE ICB
with an opportunity for the right individual to drive forward innovative change
and delivery of projects for the benefit of our population.

Main duties of the job
- Provide effective management to ensure that critical workstreams are delivered within defined quality, time and cost constraints.
- Act as the central focal point for co-ordination and communication across the alliance partners to support the optimisation, utilisation, development and use of the system estate to meet with the alliance, ICB, ICS and national priorities
- Develop and maintain project trackers and plans, produce milestone and highlight reports, as well as a risk register.
- Report on progress to ICB PC Estates and ICB Estates forums.
- Become an integrated and integral part of the placed based alliances. Providing expert complex knowledge and guidance.
- Assist and support GP staff in the development and production of Expressions of Interest, Project Initiation Documents and Business Cases, in line with ICB and NHS England requirements.
- Hold and maintain effective working knowledge of the latest Health Building Note standards to ensure any reconfiguration, modifications and new developments meet the latest specifications.
- Encourage and champion shared learning through Post Project Evaluation reporting.
- Contribute to the strategic planning of the ICB and alliances, identifying interdependencies across projects/functions, potential impacts on wider organisation
