Main duties of the job

The post holder, supported by the Population Education, Training & Employment Lead will be responsible for supporting the planning, delivery and ongoing monitoring of all tasks required to support the delivery and ongoing development of the system Workforce Strategy. Work is underway within the Suffolk & North East Essex ICS Alliances to prepare the local area and population to maximise this incredible opportunity, promoting job opportunities as well as wider investment within the area.

  • Assist and actively engage with the Lead in developing and implementing the strategic framework, in collaboration with partners, to facilitate the progression of Education, Training, and Employment initiatives.
  • Compile reports and updates as needed for the Lead to present to the Programme Board, including recommendations for resource allocation for short, medium, and long-term projects.

  • Actively work in partnership with NHSE and all partners of ICS SNEE Alliance supporting the Lead to break down organisational barriers.
  • Participate actively in the different workstreams across the program to ensure that critical dependencies are aligned, and to monitor and address any challenges that may arise to keep program-level milestones on track.
