Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for someone wishing to work in
transformation and project and change management. Based in west Suffolk,
you will be working within the West Alliance Change Team on a range of projects
across west Suffolk and in some cases pan Suffolk and North East Essex.
The role is for a twelve months fixed term
contract/ secondment and involves working with Alliance partners which include
the acute hospitals, community providers, social care and the voluntary sector.
The post holder will be working closely with clinical and operational
stakeholders on quality improvement initiatives and to re-design pathways which
are inclusive and meet needs of individuals in a better way. The job
involves producing action plans, highlight reports, chairing meetings and drive
projects independently, although you will have the support from your line
manager and team members as needed.
We are looking for an individual who is organised and self-motivated and
keen to work in transformation and either has experience of working on projects
or is considering to move into this field to develop their project management
skills. This role will suit someone who is a good communicator, has a passion
for service transformation and is willing and able to work collaboratively with
a range of stakeholders and think outside the box.

Main duties of the job
1. To
actively contribute to the delivery of West Suffolk Alliance plan.
2. Support
the West Suffolk Alliance vision and objectives.
3. To
adopt the flexible approach working of the Transformation/ Change team in order
to deliver projects across all the redesign portfolios and capture associated
interdependencies.
4. To
compile reports, executive papers and project plans as directed to enable
informed decision-making and drive project delivery within expected timeframes.
5. Ensure
tasks are underpinned with excellent project planning including the updating of
weekly planners, monthly reporting and risk registers.
6. To
support any new systems or processes that result in an improved patient
experience and easier access that can be measured transparently.
7. Facilitate
and support integrated working with health and social care providers engaging
key project members in mobilisation.
8. Through
research, evaluate and interpret national strategies and policies, NHS England
initiatives and communicate these to a wide range of staff, patients, carers,
contractors and external stakeholders. This may include communicating
contentious and sensitive information to key stakeholders and presenting
information and data should be in a format that is understandable for all
readers.
9. Working
within the project boundaries with excellent organisational skills to a level
of autonomy as agreed with line manager or senior Transformation Leads.
