Job summary
We are looking for a true digital storyteller to join our award winning and forward-thinking communications and engagement team as our Social Media and Website Officer.
The purpose of the role is to support the development and delivery of the Mid and South Essex ICB communications strategy through the delivery of high-quality digital communications.
The post holder will play a key role in supporting teams across the organisation and wider Integrated Care System. You will plan and produce high quality digital content that is in line with strategic objectives, tailored to specific audiences and optimised for specific digital channels, including website, email and social media.
Predominantly remote but may need to travel to HQ / provider sites for specific programmes.
Main duties of the job
- An eye for managing digital and/or social media campaigns and ensuring they come to life across all channels seamlessly.
- An excellent understanding of the digital and social media landscape and relevant experience of the principles and practice of successful digital and social media communications including ensuring online accessibility.
- Excellent copywriting skills with experience of creating digital content, including but not limited to rich media content assets (audio and visual), social, news, e-Bulletins and user generated content.
- Experience of monitoring the effectiveness of digital user experience via Google Analytics and other reporting tools. Knowledge of Orlo, React and Share and Cision would be desirable.
- Excellent proofreading, spelling and grammar accuracy.
- Experience of managing and analysing websites.
- An understanding of SEO best practices to increase website traffic.
- Experience of video editing is not essential but would be of benefit.
