Job summary
Contract until 31 December 2025 - will be offered as a Secondment if coming from NHS Organisation / Fixed Term Contract if coming from outside the NHS.
The Thurrock Alliance of the Mid South Essex Integrated Care Board is looking for an enthusiastic and commited person to undertake this exciting role. The successful candidate will join our existing Early Years Oral Health Team and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the oral health of children across the Thurrock area and influence work across the wider Mid and South Essex areas.
Working from home, Basildon office and across mid and south Essex.
30 hours per week - Occasional evening and / or weekend working may be required.
Main duties of the job
This role will include providing educational oral health workshops directly to parents, carers and children, as well as supporting the Train the Trainer programme to upskill professionals from a variety of organisations to deliver oral health messaging and advice to children and families. This will initially be within the Thurrock area. However as the programme develops you may be required to support the expansion of the programme across the Mid & South Essex area.
You will also be responsible for maintaining records of resources distributed and required by other members of the oral health team and system partners and ensuring robust ordering and distributibution processes and proccedures are in place. This role will also include collecting data and assisting in the production of reports to provide evidence of the effectiveness of the programme.
This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt communication styles and techniques to meet the needs of the intended audience.
