This role sits within Mid and South
Essex ICB and you will be required to work closely with the Clinical Skills
Technician and the Education Teams across the ICS.
You will be responsible to
ensure the smooth running of the education and training center and manage the booking
system program at the Brentwood site.
You will deliver high quality,
professional and customer focused services and act as an ambassador for the
organisation. The
role will require the you to present the positive image of education to
all users and promoting it as a first-class venue for learning and education,
identifying and implementing service improvements. This will include assisting
with stock management, control and ordering to ensure that stock levels across
the sites remain adequate, requisitioning new orders as and when necessary.
You will also be required to work at Brentwood Community Hospital.
Secondment until 31 March 2025.
Main duties of the job
- To oversee and co-ordinate the day-to-day operations of the building ensuring an efficient and reliable service to staff and visitors is delivered and maintained
- To support the Integrated Care Board with ensuring smooth running of booking system programs within Brentwood
- To ensure trainers and attendees as welcomed at training sessions
- To present a positive image of education to all users and promoting it as a first-class venue for learning and education, identifying and implementing service improvements
- Assist with stock management, control and ordering to ensure that stock levels across the sites remain adequate, requisitioning new orders as and when necessary
- To ensure that facilities are fit for purpose (including multi-media system and clinical equipment), checked they are in working order and secured both before and at the end of the day
- To ensure the email box is accessed and queries and bookings dealt with, within 48 hours of contact
- To maintain a good working knowledge of all ongoing training and development matters to be able to deal with staff enquiries in a competent and professional manner
- Analyse queries, evaluate support needs and either resolve issues or make effective referral to colleagues within the service or to external suppliers
- Assist with the delivery of project plans and workstreams, as directed by line manager and raising any issues with delivery to line manager
