Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking ICB, working in collaboration with key partners across a large Integrated Care System.
The post-holder will require excellent communication and analytical skills, in order to develop robust plans, ensure accurate reporting of any in-year variances, and to assist in the delivery of the efficiency agenda, liaising with finance and non-finance professionals within the organisation and the wider-system.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will coordinate the production of the short and medium term financial plans for the ICB and will assist in the production of the plans for the wider system.
They will be responsible for the production of the monthly reporting packs for the system Finance and Performance Committee, liaising with system partners to highlight variances from the system plan and planned mitigations for both revenue and capital.
The post-holder will also be required to work on multi-disciplinary working groups across the system, as part of the system transformation efficiency programme and collaborative working models.
They will manage a small team of staff in the management of the acute portfolio of budgets.
