Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for two Administrator roles within Birmingham and Solihull (BSOL) integrated Care Board (ICB);
- Supporting the and System Co-ordination Centre (SCC), a team dedicated to delivering high quality patient care, effectively managing risk and tackling heath inequalities across the system.
- Supporting the Urgent & Emergency Care (UEC) team who support the improvement and transformation of UEC and system flow across BSOL.
As the Administration Support Officer, you will undertake a range of key duties including distributing and prioritising incoming mail to the single point of contact mailbox, using judgement and experience to decide which documents require urgent action and which may be passed directly to other areas for action, to support efficient and effective patient flow and transfer of patient care, and the management of escalations and risk.
Main duties of the job
Working in conjunction with colleagues, service users and stakeholders you will be responsible for providing an efficient, comprehensive and full ranging administration / co-ordination service;
- Monitoring the single point of contact (SPOC) mailbox and other relevant mailboxes for incoming mail, using judgement and experience to decide which documents require urgent action and which may be passed directly to other areas for action
- Provide specialist secretarial/administration support and advice to the team
- Provide diary management for the Associate Director and the Head of UEC Improvement and System Flow
- Preparing agendas, taking minutes and distributing notes of meetings including typing up group discussions and interviews as necessary
- Work with key stakeholders to deliver against the NHSE task and finish, system situation reporting, and information cascade
- Day-to-day business and administrative support to the SPOC, and where directed, other Governance workstreams
