Job summary

  • The post holder as Performance and Data Manager will build on information and analysis and proactively report performance and activity against target and plan and both seeks and implements solutions to improve healthcare for patients across BSOL.
  • This is a key role, within the performance and business elements of the All Age Continuing Care Team will help deliver a professional and high quality information analytical service to support the team.
  • Technical and analytical expertise will be required in various work areas to include performance management, strategic planning, service redesign, modelling, monitoring plus database creation & maintenance.
  • The role will also be responsible for analytical support to Operational and business teams across all age CHC teams and promoting the use of information and intelligence throughout the business.
  • The post holder will take the lead and be responsible for the provision of robust and timely performance monitoring and service planning information, as well as routine and ad hoc clinical analysis.

Main duties of the job

General Duties & Responsibilities

  • The post holder will be responsible for the line management of all staff detailed in the structure including supervisions, 121s, sickness and absence policy and process and staff performance and capabilities
  • The post holder will be responsible for the production and monitoring of the whole teams work plan, including workplan updates, monitoring of staff performance against trajectories and the reporting of work progress and output to the senior leadership team.
  • The post holder will be responsible for staff training compliance and training needs analysis.
  • The post holder will be responsible for staff demand and capacity modelling and assurance.
  • The post holder will be responsible for individual staff compentency review and identification of training needs as per the national framework.
  • To undertake any other duties at the request of the line manager, which are commensurate with the role including project work, internal job rotation and absence cover
  • To deputise for the Business and Commissioning Manager as required.
  • Analyse, interpret and present data to highlight issues, risks and support decision making.
