Job summary

We are looking for a highly driven and resilient individual, someone who will quickly build excellent relationships across different levels within the organisation and make an immediate impact.

It is essential that the successful candidate is able to demonstrate the ability to interpret situations, which may often be complex in nature, and provide clear, professional advice and solutions based on policies, procedures, employment law and best practice. Good verbal and written communication skills and acting with integrity are crucial.

You will be expected to work in a fast-paced, and everchanging environment supporting the day to day HR advisory service to the ICB. Additional to this, you will be flexible and adapt to the requirements of the service. The HR Advisor will liaise regularly with employees and provide ongoing support to the to the Head of People and wider team as required.

Main duties of the job

The People Advisor is responsible for the delivery of a proactive, effective, and highquality first line advisory service to line managers and employees, which is responsive to the needs of the organisation.

The People Advisor will also be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive administrative support service to the People department and for the dissemination of information to a range of internal and external contacts.

The post holder will also be required to have particular responsibility for front line support of the People department.
