An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join the Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care Board Executive Office PMO Team. Our preferred candidate will have a background in Project Management, with a great eye for detail and experience of delivery. They must have the ability to multi-task, manage and prioritise own workload and be able to work on both their own initiative and as part of a team. They will need to have excellent organisational skills, time management and communication skills, with experience of speaking to people at all levels of the organisation, service users and members of the public.

Main duties of the job
The role will provide project management support within the ICB Executive Programme Management Office (PMO), with respect to the delivery of organisational and system objectives. Accountable and reporting to the ICB Chief of Staff, the post-holder will be required to work closely with leads to ensure the maintenance of a robust programme management framework, which ensures that programme activities are well co-ordinated, closely monitored, accurately reported, remain on schedule to deliver on time/to budget and if not, are challenged appropriately. The Project Manager will provide a pivotal role in helping embed a culture of continuous improvement within the ICB, embedding the function of the PMO to become an integral part of the organisation's management and assurance framework.
The post holder will support the SRO and the project team to ensure that their workstream of programmes are planned and managed effectively and take the lead in assisting in their successful delivery.
