Job summary

Job Title: HR Administrator

Location: CCG locations include Birmingham Wesleyan Building and Friars Gate Solihull, and this role is required to be flexible

The CCG is working within a hybrid working model.

Host Organisation: NHS Birmingham and Solihull Clinical Commissioning Group until 1st July 2022, when the ICB becomes a statutory body (subject to parliamentary approval)

Pay Band: Agenda for Change Band 4

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours, 5 days per week

Contract Type: Secondment / Fixed Term for 9 months

Main duties of the job

You will undertake a range of operational duties including:

  • To provide a comprehensive administrative and secretarial support service to the Human Resources This will include a full remit of administration duties, along with administrative support to the HR team and dissemination of information to a range of internal and external contacts. The post holder will also be required to have particular responsibility for front line support of the HR department
  • Process HR starter, leaver and change forms including up to date record management and monitoring of staff in areas such as personal records, staff trackers.
  • Support with HR case work, including keeping all online platforms up to date with sickness and performance information
  • Undertake individual assigned project work
  • Coordinating of meetings as required, including minute taking
  • Coordinating of organisational development activities including workshops and training, maintaining organisational structure charts
  • Ensuring accurate and efficient records are kept at all times.
  • The post holder will have the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy on record keeping are an essential part of this role

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, motivated, and enthusiastic administrator to join the HR team to play an important role in supporting the HR function on the transition of BSol CCG into an Integrated Care System (ICS) and daily transactional tasks. This role is offered on a fixed term basis for 9 months.
