Job summary

We are seeking to recruit a Primary Care Apprentice Administrator to support our Primary Care Contracting team at Frimley ICB.

The successful candidate will study for a level 3 Business Administration qualification whilst earning a salary, learning on the job and benefitting from the support on offer within the Primary Care Team.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will complete a Business Administration Apprenticeship (Level 3) in association with a local education provider and will have protected time to attend educational activities and complete associated work.

Alongside the educational element, the Apprentice Administrator will be a key member of the Primary Care Contracts team, providing a high-quality administrative service. This includes diary management and ensuring effective administration of key meetings. They will undertake administrative support duties including management of databases and advanced-level use of Office IT packages such as word, excel, outlook and power point.The post holder will ensure a positive approach to customer care in line with Frimley ICB's strategy and values.

About us

NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board was formed on 1 July 2022 under the Health and Care Act 2022, replacing NHS Frimley Clinical Commissioning Group.

The ICB is the new statutory NHS organisation responsible for planning and delivering health and care services. It will work collaboratively with partner organisations including the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector, people and communities across theFrimley Health and Care Integrated Care System (ICS).

  • Ideally educated to NVQ 2 level in a relevant subject or equivalent.
  • Ideally have English and Maths GCSE equivalent Grade D

Knowledge and Experience

  • Understanding of what working in an administrative environment entails
